going from a late 944 to an "early" 924s or i guess 924 in general, is a big switch. First off, i had the steering wheel. I realize the column is lower and all, and i thought this was what made me hate the seats, but actually, i think its the three spoke wheel.

Tonite i took my momo back out of the teener and swapped nine44 momo adapters- he had the one i needed and i had the one he needed- and installed it into the 924s. Coincidentally, this is why my wiring fried last week, wrong adapter, the little turn signal canceller is longer and took out the ts switch. REMEMBER THAT!!! Man what a difference a wheel makes...i dont even mind the non bolstered seats as much..ok that is next.

When i got a new wheel it made ALL the difference. It was off an 87 944 S, the diameter was slightly smaller, and there was 2 inch spacer between the hub and wheel. The wheel no longer rubs on my legs and i have the perfect seating position.

much better on the ride to work this morning...i think the car runs better now.
