6 hours per wheel right?

but they look really good, kudos to you for all the hard work.

And what is that in the garage? Looks like a kit car of some sort, something based on the early VW chasis?

The singlular best cookie cutter I've seen- I like the polished lip and flat black center because from 30 feet away you cant tell if they are fuchs or not..

They look terrific.

Nice Job!!

They look great! Now, all you need to do next, in this order, is:

1. Lower the rear with the eccentric.
2. Paint the crests in the center caps. It would be cool if you left out the red and gold and just did them in a blac/negative image style.

I am planning on painting the crests later this week. I actually started stripping them last night and then worked for about 6 hours today and finished this afternoon.

The kit in the garage is a Glassco Renegade dune buggy kit(made in England) on a Beetle chasis. I don't know what year the body or chasis is but we're titling it as a '67. My brother and dad are really into VW's as you can see by the Thing parked next to the 944.

Its an offset bolt which allows you to adjust the rear height.

Heres a good write up: http://www.tech-session.com/kb/index...x_v2&id=62&c=4

But what tifo is talking about our bolts in the rear suspension that when adjust raise and lower the hight of the trailing arm. The following picture is from a 911, but its looks close to the same on the 944...

Well, cookie cutters are my favorite wheel.......

But... I don't like the looks of the full polish.
To me it looks like a hub cap or a chromed cheapo.

Thats just my opinion..

I had thought about doing that. Now I know that I will be repainting something in the center. I'm thinking of making the deep sections black and then have the outline as a shinny surface..

Good job on the polish though

Don

I tweaked the pic a little
