Default Diverter valve issues.

my stock diverter valve does not hold vacuum, and my dad suspects that is where my vacuum leak is. Is the stock unit supposed to hold vacuum? Could i still run my car with this deverter valve temporaily until i order one and it arrives. Also is there anywhere i can get one today since it is labor day and all.

Yes, it should hold a vacuum. It's not an uncommon failure. You can get a stock replacement from Paragon, or check out the one they sell from Evolution Motorsports. It's a much nicer unit than the stock one.
