Default Nor Cal Mountain Fun Run-Wentworth Springs /Ice House Road Redux

Another assault on the Wentworth Springs Rd/Ice House Road is planned for the weekend of September 25th or 26th. At this point both dates are open to final tuning depending on attendance and input from out of towners.
For those of you unable to make it last time, it's a 'Creme de Cruize' of a route with enough tight turns to make a seasoned sailor green at the gills and plenty of long sweepers to return the color to your face. Here's the route:

All Porsches are welcome...that's why they call it a Fun Run...no Bar-B-Q's, no gimmicks, no $$$'s, just driving and meeting folks who love the Marque. A break for lunch and yakking at Loon Lake is a given.

The Placerville leg (Hwy. 193) to Georgetown drop on 193 into the American River Canyon will definitely wake you up no matter how many stops you made at Starbucks.

If the 5 qt. oil thing is true I believe no one will want to be behind you anyway Serge. You either take the lead and burn up and we pick you up on the way...or you try to fix that 'one' bad leak and 'smell' all our cars when we get to Ice House Rd. There ain't a soul amongst us that doesn't have a leak somewhere that always seems to stink at the end of a hard run. It's a good stink though! If it's a choice between fixing a minor annoyance leak and driving the car...no contest-Drive the Car.

Anyway, should be another good time.
Glad to hear your in. So far looks like you, Brad, Dimitry, and me. The earlier date didn't work for David anyway. The 83 is on limp-home mode so Travis will be AWOL.

Hey Serge, those 911's have personality. You and I drink a good beer after a good ride, the 911 drinks 15W-50 !

Well, I think I better get in on this one, too. The last one was awesome. Can't wait.

Saturday the 25th seems to be the best for everyone so far. Does anyone have a digi video? I'd love a short stream of those downhill esses with all the cars approaching Ice House Rd. Same time, same place...again open to all Porsches. Revin911, DanD, JonnyBGood, should try to make it if they see this post. I'll keep updating as we get closer.
