Anyone have advice on how to back out the broken bolt still in the tranny flange? With the exhaust in the way, it is a little tight to feel like I could drill it accurately... Do I dare try and JB weld the broken half of the bolt back onto the piece to try and back it out?

Yes. Unbolt the bolts from the wheel side of the cv. Pull that sid eof the cv out of the wheel (it takes a little pulling or angling.. but I think I got it.. Then just slide it off that last sheared bolt. Mine took a little hammer force to get it free from the tranny side, as it was stuck in somehow. But that should be all you need to do. Just take off the wheel side.. and youll figure it out.

Then youc an most likely get vice grips on it or something. Or have you already taken the CV out? Or was that side already teh one hanging? If so, get an easy out. Drill a hole through the center of teh bolt thats left inside, then tap the easy out through the hole, then you just need a wrench to turn the easy out. and it should come out easily. The bolt won't be tight, as all the others backed out. and about having room. You should be able to find room by turning the flange at the tranny to where you can get a drill. Not sure if i went above exhaust or below. Otherwise, its only 3 bolts to get the muffler off...
