a fuel rail will set you back 50 usd from what i've seen, message some of the guys in the 944 classifieds

IIRC I paid 50 bucks - I got mine from a Rennlister. You will need an EARLY fuel rail, mine split a braze at the rear mount to the camtower, leaked so slightly I could only see it weep while engine was running.

As long as you are replacing your fuel rail, replace the o-rings on the injectors as well- another 15 bucks or so. The injector connectors have a spring clip on the top, be careful not to break these. a major PITA to fix.
