I have a Zeitronix- pretty cheap (especially with the group buy), but I have yet to test it.
I feel your pain though! I blew a headgasket, replaced the motor intsead (found one with a MAF/big turbo for cheap), then 2 months later I blew another headgasket the same day the motor was finished being installed, then fixed the headgasket myself in my college apt parking lot (took 3 months...), then when I was finally done, I broke a piston on the test drive. The original problem was the wastegate, which was in backwards the whole time. I just didnt have enough common sense to see that 30lbs of boost meant faulty/backwards wastegate. I now have a 3rd motor in, and my wastegate is fixed and nearly all issues are taken care of.
Believe me, I KNOW its frustrating, but get the car fixed properly, get a wideband, and tune it properly! You can get a wideband for under $500...
