I am drawing a blank at the moment. They are either 19mm or 21mm, I am always getting the Turbo and the Turbo S mixed up. I want to say 21mm is for the "S"! Best wishes - Jay Gratton

I thought they were 30 mm up front and 16 or something like that in the rear...

18mm rear are from earlier models, my 86 came with it. When the Turbo S came out they went smaller at some point in the run.

Why would they go smaller anyway?

Maybe to induce more understeer, or to give it more balance, this might be desireable for street driving, but i have to wonder why on the track. I can understand against using like a 22mm on the track, because of the extreme ammounts of oversteer, but why would they not stick w/ the 18mm>?

Keep in mind the torsion bars are larger on the Turbo S. They most likely needed to reduce the rear sway for a more streetable understeer.
