Default Stereo installation

Do I need to hack into the wiring to the stereo to install a new one, or are there adaptors available for our cars? I want to mate the connector in the first picture to the one in the second, and the one in the third to the one in the forth.
I'd like to keep the original connectors if I someday choose to install the original radio.
(sorry for the lousy pictures)

Cut it yourself, or get an adapter kit from www.crutchfield.com

I'm wishing the previous owner used an adapter... I have no radio and about a dozen wires sitting there.
