Question New 968 Owner - What Maintenance Manual to buy?

Hi,

I just took possession of a 1994 968 Coupe. I'd like to start learning more about the car and be prepared to do at least some of my own maintenance and trouble shooting.

What maintenance manual(s) should I buy to help me do this?

Thanks,

Phil

You found this place, so that's gonna be about 90% of the battle right there. Haynes makes a manual for the 944's, it's useful mostly for the pictures, but even with the '86+ cars, or an S, or a Turbo, there's a lot of differences, so it's marginally useful. The factory manuals are helpful, and great if you can find them on CD, but way pricey in "paperback." There are loads of procedures on www.clarks-garage.com, a lot of them I think would apply to the 968 fine, but it's geared towards the 44's.

Congrats, good luck!
