Sweet! My brother is looking at that one for his 4runner. You can easily get around 400HP with the Lexus throttle body, new injectors and a slightly modified turbo system on it. I'm not sure what Tranny you'd use though.

A 951 transaxle would be the ONLY option... Maybe an S2 one...

Wasn't that guy here on the list and got pretty much flamed for trying to put a supra engine in a 944?

Yep, and I believe he got a little gruff over there on that forum as well.

To each his own, but my opinion is that....................that is no longer a Porsche. I hope that he gets the master cylinder issue worked out, and I hope to god he gets a beefier transmission than the stock one that is in the car at the moment.

Aside from the stock tranny not being able to hold up, the gears will be too short.

A 968 tranny might hold and give a nice 6 speed.
