I like the green one! I thought about painting my 83 that color . . .or maybe Gulf Blue with orange Fuchs. . . .

 

looks great but those headlight ducts are not my style

While we are posting cool 944 pics, here is one that is a piece of history:

I know both cars in that picture and even a gulf blue 951 with orance CCW wheels.

 

You've spent so much time around these cars and you have yet to learn what a nose penal is?

Anyone seen a front end like this?

 

Here is the gulf blue 951.



It was painted by the same guy that painted the 28 951. The 28 car is is personal car.

Motor was done by technodyne and is a 2.5L garrett turbo car with something around to 400 hp. He reciently redid the body on the car and wend to a silver color with GT3RS style air intakes. It was a full steel wide bodied car. Now it has some fiberglass.

Nose panel is vented the easy way. By drilling some round holes.

The gulf 951 is standard bodied car with power in lower 300's. Still a fast car.

The green 944 in the backgroud is spec-944.

 

Did his hood melt?

 

Nope.
That is just part of the paint work.

Where'd you find that vint 944 pic? Better yet, do you have a high res copy?

 

Why is the headlight duct thingy only on one headlite? SHouldnt it be on both? Also, the color scheme. red blue and orange, are the colors of the Armenian national flag, dont know if that means anything or if its just some useless information or a coincidence, but it sure looks like a wavey flag.

 

I found that a long time ago on a german Porsche forum (I think it was DasPorscheBoard or der Transaxle). That's the highest res that I have.............
