Default EDIT ON 89 944 PARTING POST: PLEASE READ

ok i've got some news...it's either good or bad depending on your point of view on this. it seems as though i will not be parting the car out after all. my dad came back from the hospital last night after his stay there and when he found out i was parting out the car i believe his words were something like "what the hell" except the way he said it was a little more colorful so i won't bother to digress into that. needless to say, he put a stop to my efforts and said he doesn't care if my car is in there in the garage for another two years he won't let it be parted...so there's only two options...i fix it all up or someone buys the car whole...so ya i guess since no one wants to buy it whole for the price i'm looking for it's gonna be in the garage for a while.

and one more thing....to the person(s) who think(s) (thought) that i was in over my head on this rebuild...i say poo on you (i don't feel like cursing publicly)...i WILL get this car back on the road...one way or another

but to everyone i made deals with on parts...i'm REALLY sorry. it's out of my hands.

yes all the starters are the same...i paid 220 for it including shipping (which was 2-day)...944 online sells it for 165 with a core charge...i will sell it for 150 plus shipping (remember that it's newly rebuilt and ive only had it for a week)...i've spent thousands and thousands on this car over the summer and am broke for college and am ready to part with the car...i need to make at least most of the money i've lost on the car...

Jake,

I need the black plastic trim for the climate control, is it available?
Also, I've been long hunting for those clips that mount the rear carpet in the hatch to the wall, there's about 10 of them.

Thanks

Dumb dumb dumb. I love ya kid, but, you should of at least thought of this before you got this deep. Now you're going to lose money even parting it out....
