India Red I believe is Guards Red paint. The color code is the same as that of Guards Red for my 928S4 at home, so just buy a guards red touch up paint. THere is no difference in color.

LM3A is the paint code it is the same as Guards Red.

I graduated from Baylor, there is NO good Porsche Mech there. There ARE two really awful Porsche mechanics there. What do you need done?

Talking

Cocktail tidbit:

Believe it or not, some auto paint stores will have it labeled as "Dale Jarrett Red" (sp?). Apparently another manufacturer (GM? Ford? ..) copied that color and it is/was used on this man's NASCAR stock car as well as on whatever domestic production car equivalent there is/was.

I think my heart skipped a beat when I read LM3A to the paint guy, fully expecting to hear 'guards' or 'India' and instead he barked back "Dale Jarrett"!

Cheers,

Here's an old tip: the Testor's model paint brand has a red enamel that is a perfect match for Guards Red (=Indisch Rot or India Red).
