Honestly- they only look good, with the wide-body kit Porsche used during the 1981-85 LeMans, and SCCA campaigns. The spoiler is purpose-built(2"tallerx2"longer) for endurance racing, like the ole' LM...On the standard body 944- it looks more like a bionic appendage, and a bit out of proportion, with the rest of the car. However, this is only my opinion- and obviously, your results may vary...

Ever though of a 968 style rear bridge like those that were available on the 89+ cars?

Give these guys a call. They have the LeMans spoiler in stock, although for some reason they don't have it listed on the site.

Can you all post some pics of this spoiler. I have seen it on gt-racing.com, but never on a car.

I really don't like the 968 style bridge spoiler. I'd like a stock spoiler in fiberglass withouth the 'PORSCHE' imprint across the back. The lemans is the next best thing, and probably complements my front splitter fairly well.

The point of the exercise is twofold - to completely debadge the car, and to remove all of the dated exterior bits. The spoiler is the last holdout on both fronts.

Sent fast44 an email, Tifo. Time is a factor, since this week is my last chance to get new stuff painted while they're spraying my car.

Thanks,
jp

Winslow (HorsePowerFarm) has one on his black beauty. I was amazed at how good that spoiler looked. It didn't really stand out but it made the car look purposeful.
If I can't find a 968 bridge spoiler next year I'm putting that one on my shopping list.

There's what appears to be a stock spoiler in fiberglass on eBay right now, I don't know if it's got the badging or not, but on fiberglass it's easy to fill.

IMO the 951 with the front lip, and no lemains rear spoiler seem to look like they're missing something. The Lemans Rear spoiler makes it perfect.

Default JP944......Thats a TIGHT 951!

JP944: Your 951 with the LeMans spoiler is real BOSS.....I humbly retract my previous opinion.....scratch that, please. I guess I had another type of LM spoiler in mind. It is made by either Zender, of FoHa of Austria....and it looks like a cheap knock off! This one, is original.

That's not his car.

Hey, gonna answer that thread about your dyno sheet for your 220hp n/a 2.5 motor?
