I was on my way to a car show minding my own business and i came to a stop in traffic. When i looked in my rearview mirror i saw a car not slowing down nail me from behind. I pull ove to a parking lot and the guy in front of me pulled over to see if everyone was alright and the guy who hit me ran off So i am stuck with a pushed in bumper and a minor bend in my rear passenger quarter panel, and i find out my mom didnt put collision on my car which i told her to put FULL coverage. My bro comes home and flips out and says he is going looking for the guy and after he gave up he went to someones house and was running after one of his friends playing around and broke his ankle. This doesnt go well with man who i am looking to buy his 968 is on vacation, and i cant find out a price until he gets back,the shock i got at my one job, and a nail i got in the foot at the other It seems like the world is against me. One thing that might go well for me is a ffound a blk on blk 86 951 for sale with a whole go over buy a proffesional mechanic in 2001 and a very good condition body for 6500. So it may be gods way of saying get the 951 lol

Next time stay where you are hit, it is easier for the police to report on that way. If the other driver runs get their plate. Hit and run is a serious offense

But I am really surprised that anyone able to buy a 951 or 968 is on their parents insurance? I was on my parents during high school for a lower rate, but around 18 I was on my own policy.

yeah i pulled over to the lot right next to the spot i got hit and the person took off but i got a good look at what he was drivng and what he looked like I figure since all this bad stuff has happened something good is bound to eventually

Oh btw anyone know what a 86 951 is worth with recent who engine gone over for probs a very good cond body with 127k miles

My insurance company valued my 86 951 with 144,000 miles for 7,200, just fyi.

I just went and looked at the 951 for sale and it is soo clean, just about all original and it runs oh so much better than my n/a. Although the guy said it was black as an exterior color it is actually a dark grey almost black. As soon as i went for a ride i knew i must have it

Did you get the license number? His insurance will pay because he's at fault, it doesn't matter that you don't have collision. Did you report it to the police? Have you reported it to your insurance company

i have reported it but he cut some people off and i didnt get the plate because of the high traffic. I didnt even hear tire screaching when he came up behind me so he was going approxiately 30-40mph and i was stopped. Its amazing how little damage my car received from this, but i do know what his car looked like and a faint image of his face.

I doubt he was going that fast, he probably just had crappy brakes that wouln't lock up. 30 to 40 mph would produce a lot of damage.

well on the positive note i am almost 100% sure i am getting a 86 951. Finally something good to happen to me in this week.

It sucks cause it was my first accident and my first reaction was wtf happened, and now i get flashbacks everytime a car comes up fast behind me.
