Let me know about this right away as the supplemental cable and fuse is a real shortage spot. I was going to let another guy into the build because some earlier guys never sent in deposits. If you didn't get that, I've got trouble.
You can't miss the cable and fuse.

Sorry for the confusion. thanks.

Dan,
How long do you think it would take someone with decent experience to install the battery cable package? I'm thinking of having a Milwaukee get-together to get some help installing these, but would like to have an idea of the time commitment. Thanks,
Eric

Eric, you must have gotten a shipment notice from FedEx.
If you don't pull the intake manifold off then it should be 2 or 3 hours, max with an NA. With time for a beer or coffee break. Guys like Danno can probably do it in a half hour.
Seeing your envelope, is your family like S. C. Johnson? Then no problem attracting helpers from about 1000 miles around to your compound.

Dan, now I'm curious what envelope I used? Just got the kit today and it looks great. Nice writeup too, but I am not comfortable tackling it myself with my limited mechanical skills.
I'm hoping to get some of the Milwaukee-area folks together sometime this fall. But then I thought about how much fun we could have with a driving tour, a cookout, etc, that I don't want to be spending the whole time making everyone work on my car. Thanks for the time estimate. I'll give it some thought and set a date.

Elf, your envelope had the family company name as the return address. You usually don't see that unless there is a big private company involved, so big egos. Usually the women are responsible for envelope design. I have no clue what your family company does but I've dealt with several big private companies that are worth well into the billions, so know the signs. I could hope you are in the Cargill class but you wouldn't be here if you were.
adrial, yes I got the PayPal. Now all I need to do is figure out why you sent it. I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off to get things resolved before I go off on vacation.

Ah, let me sew it partially back on...
I wanted the negatives + the positive that runs to the starter (the one that seems to start all the electrical related engine fires).

adrial, yeah, I figured it out and now know why I had a negative and positive sitting on the bench with no apparent place to go. I'll get it packed up this weekend and off to you on Monday.

Thanks Ginger, I plan on it.
One thing I learned in my time is under promise and over deliver. I'm sort of getting worried about that with all the attention I have gotten on the kits. But what can you do? Shrug
