Default Just got back from paint shop! *pics*

I am so happy about the way my fresh coat of high gloss black turned out, i wanted to share a few pics. It's an '87 951 Turbo with 107k on the odo. i just wanted to freshen up the look a little.

Cheers!

The paint looks great. Did they do much prep, over just spray another coat?

Thanks guy's, i love the new paint. He stripped the car and layed sealer and primer then triple coated the paint after the initial first few passes. I'm in Chattanooga. Ironically i actually AM going to get rid of it. I hate to see it go, but i drove a 2003 Alpine white bmw 330i today and loved it, so i will probably accept the trade in offer he proposed ($6,000) towards the 330i. I already have a silver highly modded 325i, and want something newer with a little more pep to go beside it in the garage. I also moderate www.clublexus.com and have a Lexus SC400 that is my daily driver (until i get the 330i).

I love my Porsche, but i have had PLENTY of 944's and two 951's so it may be time for me to go to the 968 or something to try a different approach.

This car has lot's of goodies, but my favorite mod were the Koni yellow suspension. Really brings out the already awsome handling of the 951.

I bet you could get quite a bit more than 6k for that car if you sold it on here or ebay.

Paint cost depends on the paint, the painter, and the area. Mine turned out flawless, good painter- + paint total = $500. I got VERY lucky in finding this guy. 2 grand isn't uncommon for paint. $1,500 is a better price.
