Ian,
Wouldn't the cheapest and probally best way to do it be get an aftermarket LSD installed into your 6-speed? I think they are around 900-1200 or something like that, then you would be assured that it's new and done right. I don't know what it would cost to install it......

Oh and if one of those 6-speed lsd trannys falls out of the sky send one my way too......

True, the best way to do it would be to get a very solid aftermarket unit for the 6 speed, something lets say with a 75% lock up, and then I would know that I have a solid LSD working for me. The 150k mile LSD units out there are often worn out. But when you throw in install costs on top of that LSD unit its quite pricy.

So in an ideal world, I'll find a cheap 951 driveline complete with transmission. Do the swap and shelve the 968 unit till I can pay for the LSD upgrade. But it will all come down to how my budget for the project is looking.

If you were on the east coast we could try and work things out, but the 4000 miles between NC and CA sort of eleminate that option.....
