since i took the power steering out of my car, and have no intention of reinstalling the components, i don't see why i shouldn't just sell them. so to start off - i have totally cleaned and rebuilt my power steering pump, and i'd like to sell it on here rather than ebay. so in the true spirit of rennbay (muhaha), i'll start off asking $100 for it ($50 core charge for a rebuildable pump), and if anyone wants it, i'll sell to the highest 'bidder'.

you can email me for pictures of the pump. it comes with the banjo bolts, copper washers, and the pulley. all you have to do is take your old one off(send it back to me if you don't want to pay the core), and put this one on(of course you should change the fluid, and the reservoir as well).

so................can you post some pics of it apart or give me some tips? i have mine about 1/16th of the way done right now. im having some trouble getting things apart.

 

mike, my pump is starting to moan on occasion now, so i was planning on rebuilding it soon.

my parents don't live too far away from ERAU. i could probably pull the pump, drive down to daytona, trade pumps and head back to my parent's place in st. augustine to reinstall. save us the money and hassle of shipping.

i was planning on visiting my parents soon anyway. may as well pick up your pump. put me down for $50. i should be over to st. augustine within the next couple weeks.

i'll be up at school at the end of this month. i can have a pump ready for you at that time if you like. my aim is ERAU944 if you want to get in touch that way, or i can give you a call. just make sure you keep the system full and you'll be good to go.
