Question attn: Skip a.k.a. ostrich/emu man

hey Skip!

i'm just trying to check on an order i placed with paragon - it hasn't arrived yet, and i ordered sometime last week; i'm not sure exactly when it was. it schwas for some(2 front and 2 rear) caliper rebuild kits, a master cylinder rebuild kit, and a sunroof seal. i can't find the email to check the order number, but the name's Michael Banas.

if you could, please let me know what's going on with my order.

thanks a bunch!

skip, since you'll probably be reading this thread, what was your advice of redline gear lubricants? not shock proof? what is optimal for somewhat modded 951 that will se some track time, but mostly street.

huh... wha...

Michael, will have Jason contact you tomorrow.

Eyal, not shockproof. Redline says MT-90 just to be cautious with the GL-4 "spec" but the 75W90NS GL-5 is a slightly better fluid and works just great in the 944 transaxle (75W90 for LSD equipped)

So Skip, does that mean the MT90 in the 951S with LSD is correct? Or should I have Redline 75W90 Gear Oil in there???

Randy, the MT-90 is good for the LSD as well, but IMO not as good as the 75W90 which is specifically designed for use in clutch-type LSDs. Depends on if you are caught up on the GL spec issue.

If your 968 has the Torsen diff, then use either MT-90 or 75W90NS.

Mike, I tried to respond last night but evidently I screwed that up like I screwed up your order. Practice makes perfect. Quite frankly I just missed the order and I don't have any great excuse. The package is shipping out today and I've expedited the shipping a bit on us. Sorry for the hassle.

Dr. Koni comes through. It's always refreshing to see suppliers who step up and take responsibility for problems, instead of attempting to blame the customer. In the words of one of my favorite employers, "No Excuses!"

I think this is turning into another "thank GOD for Paragon Products" thread.
While there have been many in the past, I for one cannot say it enough:
Thanks, guys.

As far as drinking after hours, how much does that REDUCE your golf score, Skip?

thanks again for getting my order to me in an honest fashion guys - but i do have another question.

i checked the tracking information... and just how does a sunroof seal and 5 rebuild kits for my brake calipers and master cylinder end up weighing #25? could it be maybe you shipped me a bunch of a/c delete kits? a strut brace? #20 of solid gold, and the rest of my order?

hee hee, this should be interesting
