Default More Hood Vents...

Stolen from another thread, but more of the same idea with hood vents.....

I would still like to see a nice layout for an IC vent, but I think these too would help underhood temps....

Speaking of hood vents I have one for sale. I was going to do a CGT conversion on my 924S but now I'm thinking about selling it. Here's what it looks lik on a car. PM me if any one is interested.

I have been searching for someone in the local area to punch louvers in my hood, instead of an insert.

It use to be quite common in the hot rod world, just a matter of finding someone who still has the equipment.

A lot of places to buy louvered inserts, here is one.

Ian, I think the Hood of an 83 Starion/Conquest would look GREAT on a 951. At least the scoop. Let me grab a pic.

The CGT scoop looks good but if you want to remove heat from the engine bay like I do, then that design is not the best way. IMHO

Here is some good info

Anyone know what mirrors are on that red car at the top, and where to get them?

DP motorsport used to offer them ages ago, I dont know that anyone does any more but you could check with GT Racing.

Larry, some of the Japanese hood scoops inverted look fine on the 944, hoods are cheap, get to cutting

I dig the hood vents on the red one, but not the car itself.. i think NACA ducts are definitely classiest.
