On the late cars, it's aka the "gong relay."

Some wise guy humorous inventor should make one up that really sounds like a "GONG" when you open the door or your lights are on and make you sound like you took a trip to Chinese Restaurant in Beijing.

Anyone know what it is (or WHERE it is) on an early car? I've wondered about that since the day I got my car. I only suspect someone removed it because it drove 'em nuts, I see it in the wiring diagram, but there's no mention of it in the "relays" picture in the owner's manual, nor is there a socket for it with the rest of the relays. It bugs me that the little red "seat belt warning" light doesn't light up like it's supposed to either - controlled by the same (missing) relay.

If anyone has one, I'll take it.
