Hey guys im trying to replace my O2 sensor on my 86 951. I got it unscrewed but cant find the other end it seems like the wires wedge up under the intake near the turbo but I cant find the connector to unclip it... Does it go into the firewall or wiring harness? I cant see or tell where it goes so I dont have to start tearing things apart:-)... Any help?

The O2-sensor should be plugged into a connector mounted to a bracketet on the back of the intake-manifold. It's the same one that holds the connectors for the speed & ref. sensors. The O2 sensor is the round one.

There should be a bracket on the back of the intake manifold near the firewall with three plugs in it. The round plug clipped to it is the O2 sensor plug. The two rectangular plugs are for the speed and reference sensors. Don't mess with them. After unplugging the O2 sensor, tie or tape a piece of flexible wire/string to the plug and then pull it out the bottom. The wire/string can be used to pull the plug back up through the mess of heatshields and stuff (assuming you made it long enough and didn't pull it too far).
