Default Scam? Paypal class action

To all critical minds...
I received this email and am wondering if it's legit.
How can I find out?
The link to claims that is embedded doesn't work and isn't a https link.
http://members.rennlist.com/jkrans/paypal.htm
Any info would be appreciated.
edit - moving to OT

I just got that email, too. I haven't clicked the link because I just don't trust it. But I have no useful information to add.

IMHO It's a fake.
The links get redirected- why would PayPal redirect to a webpage off of their site? and it should be a secure site as well..

I usually delete anything that's related to pay pal. I've heard of too many bad experiences with it, not to mention I had a bad experience with them too...

I don't believe that link, it's got shade all over it...

It is not a scam.

The class action lawsuit is real and in progress.

It's legit:

I think it's only 35 cents though...

I'm sure plenty of people will get excited when they here there's a few million dollars to be handed out. Too bad a few million bucks going to 40 million people gets spread pretty thin. It's not worth my effort so I deleted the email too. Nothing against Paypal, I've been happy with their service for about 4 years now.
