I just did my radiator ,water pump, camcover gasket, all belts and rollers, drive belts and hoses with a good friend a wrench at benzel Bush Mercedes.I was pulling my hair out looking to borrow a belt adjustment tool, as he was afraid to set the belt tension wrong. The car sat for 2 weeks and by luck I found a guy in town that was excellent.I gave him the car with the cam cover installed all new belts and rollers installed, and the car was properly timed. He insisted if he was to do it he redid the belts and rollers ,then adjusted them, installed radiator, belt covers, drive belts, hoses ,oil antifreeze, cooling fans, basically put it bact together from the belts up. He charged me $325, and will check them for me at 2 or 3k miles. The owner is Sam, but the porsche mech is this tiny little old foreign guy.So far so good, 200 miles on the car since. Washington AVe Getty,125 N Washington AVe, Bergenfield,NJ, 201-384-8201...I only used him this one time but got good vibes ....I only wish I could have spoken myself to the mechanic, without the owner as interperter.Feel free to call me at work any day 1PM-7PM, 1800-695-8744 ext-3053, Red

Try

WAGON WORKS
304 W. Palisade Ave
Englewood, NJ
201-871-4054
Owner - Jay Millard

Jay works on my 944, my dad's 944 and has worked on his 356 as well....he also worked on my dad's 1st porsche in the mid 60's ( when the shop was his fathers! )......they do VW, Porsche and Audi work......not a flashy place ( you'd drive right by if you were not really looking for it) but Jay is as honest and straightup as they come.....

Good Luck!

Joe
