Porsche would never get Italian(OK- the Pininfarina-designed 908 is the ONLY exception) influence in their cars again. I bought a Porsche solely because of the distinctive Teutonicness of it. Lamborghini doors on any car other than a Lamborghini, or McLaren F1 is straight-up Ghetto styling.

Three Wheelin'
I am so glad that I saw this thread! I am flying out tomorrow morning to pick up the "Ian Special" 951, and was about to jump in the bed. I'm glad I checked out the 'List, though, as I have been laughing so hard for the past 5 pages!
Micah Jones, your original lighthearted joke that spawned further development of the "Rennlist Squad" pictures and ideas was hilarious! I, too, am glad that Progenitor04 took it as good fun.
Progenitor, if you are still thinking of spending $2500 on those doors, think about how many other great things you could do for your car, including but not limited to: a new paint job (nearly), suspension upgrades, engine modifications, interior renewal, new wheels and tires, even a DVD system if that would float your boat. Of course, you couldn't do all those things for $2500, but you could pick and choose. Personally, I would have to say "NO" to Lamborghini doors on a Porsche. However, I respect your right to do anything you please with your possessions, and I wish you luck with your 944 project.
