Looking for the closest color to Orig phonedial silver
Hello everyone! I semi-recently painted my early turbo phonedials with Wurths "new" silver that replaced the color that they came with, and I am deeply dissapointed. They turned out looking a bit lighter than the Wurth primer I used. Does anyone have any other recommendations on what I can buy for to paint them the white-silver luster I know and like.
I was thinking about going darker but I really do not like the look of it on my Gemini gray car. Pictures would be much appreciated as well!
Take care!

I used the Duplicolor on the D90's and it is a little darker than the stock color.

I used Duplicolor's Ultra Silver. Can be found at any Walmart in the automotive section. The color is slightly lighter then the original phonedials, but the difference isnt really noticeable unless your looking for it. I used this color to paint my center caps. Here is a comparison...

Thank you all for the replies and of course pictures. I think I will go with the Duplicolor as I have good results with paint in past uses and I also have some of their clear around as well. Nicely done by the way everyone!

I had my phone dials professionally painted with the OEM wurth silver color 2 years ago, when they were done the color was a little darker, but for some odd reason it lightened up shortly after and it matches my OEM Porsche center caps perfectly.
The paint was: Wurth Lacquer Spray Metallic Silver Art. No. 0892-181-U
Good luck.

Sure will Ray.
Pologuy: Interesting indeed...I used Wurth White Al Art No: 0893 369 006-U. Did your wheels lighten up after the paint dried, or after you some heat due to driving?
