What the hell is this thing on my vacuum lines? Anyone have the part number?
What is the little round blue and black plastic thing that's attached to my vacuum lines near the firewall? It may be only on turbos, I don't know. It's under an inch in diameter and whatever it is, mine is broken and I want a new one 
. Anyone have the part number, I couldn't find it in the PET.

I think Travis has the right number.
I'll double check later tonight when I look at my service records.
They're available at the dealership, and 99% of the time you have to order it from another dealership or Germany.

If its just a check valve... for $40 cant you make something up. Don't they sell little check valves down at homedepot?

Crossed my mind, but I'm doing so many repairs right now (replaced cracked headers, oil cooler seals, new vac lines, etc, plus a ton of upgrades *points to sig*)what difference does another $40 make?

Might want to check there: probably stock, most probably cheaper....
$40 for a plastic valve????? Industrial quality stainless check valves are cheaper.

All those numbers are incorrect.
The correct number is 928.537.361.02
It's a black/blue cylindrical check valve with a nipple on the top that's known to break.
And it doesn't cost $40 or $20, it cost exactly $30.84

Are we talking about the check valve that fits into the front of the brake booster? I just installed that part a couple months ago (early June actually). I replaced it with the version for the 951, which is also the version for non-AC cars. The part number was 191.611.933 F just as Travis listed. And it cost $9.63 from Paragon.
