well, the good part about it is I will be working at DeMan Motorsports starting next month, so I will have plenty of cars to chose from when I want to buy another one. (notice, I say 'when', not 'if')

The "extra cash" option is most likely a scam.. very common scam on e-bay.
Ignore that. Do a search on "scam" and you'll see.

agree with M758 it's a scam. had the same when i tried to sell my 2.3 16v 190e. the scam goes like this: he tells you he will buy your car on behalf of his client and will send a cashiers check. he then says his client accidentally sent you a check including the shipping amount included. he tells you too cash the check (which is bogus) and forward the shipping amount to the shipper (him). Hoping you send the check before his clears. my advice is to not deal with anyone overseas period. who would pay the shipping costs that are more than the cost of the car? it's all a scam.

Too bad you're not living in NY and moving elsewhere... good luck with it, a good buy IMO for someone in the area with a little mechanical know-how.

U-haul will NOT rent a dolly for a 944. You would have to flatbed or trailer it in order to transport it more than a few miles.

Nope. Has to do with the front end clearance.. It wont physically go onto the dolly without tearing the front fascia, and towing it backwards you'll leave the front end fascia on the road neat the first bump you encounter.

Ask me how I know. I did get a 2 wheel dolly from U-haul and tried it. Flatbed or trailer is best.
YMMV.
