The car looks great, and I do appreciate their having photographed it in their fine showroom. However, where on earth are these guys getting their pricing information?! It certainly isn't from NADA, as they claim. The NADA prices max out at $8480 for high retail. It appears that someone has already bid at $13,900.... Someone is getting taken for a ride....

What's rare about it? It's a guards red S. They made a few of those.
The wheels are SSR's not Speedlines like he says in the ad.
It's a good looking car but anyone who would spend 18 grand for a 944S is a little goofy.

I would say it is massively overpriced but apparently someone is willing to as least come close to his asking amount. Car is probably worth about 10K or so and on such a pefect car those wheels look out of place. Not to mention the car barely makes enough power to move them The first one that is.

One thing that struck me in the ad: it states that 1993 was the first year for Variocam. Almost, but not quite. It was introduced on the 1992 968. Also, he is almost correct in saying that Variocam is on the current 996 Twin Turbo. It's Variocam Plus. I don't know why I am pointing little things like that out. I am always analytical, but usually just let it go.

Very, very pretty stock look but the wheels are just far too big for the stance of the NA body in my opinion.

Yeah the S need stock wheels. Exterior paint is a little off, My guess is that they just cleaned the car to make the interior nice. I'd bet it was not that nice on the way in. Still a nice car. Personally I'd go no more than 9-10. It nice, but it is just an S. Nothing too special. I think the 13k bid was a primer by the dealer and 18k? Well when they sell it for 10k the new owner will leaving thinking he got steal!

The 968 is highly priced, but I don't think too high given the low miles

Here is the funniest part...they have a nice 85 Carrera...buy it now is only $22,900 vs. $18,900 for the 944S...me thinks the $4000 is worth it for the 911...and I love 944's!

Weird pricing!
