at one time i had a turbo supra AND an eclipse that was my daily driver. After having to talk myself out of fixing the eclipse up numerous times i realized, HEY, having two sports cars is just pointless if you dont have something to haul stuff, etc..... I say if you keep selling cars to get out of debt, just to turn around and buy another that you will definitly want to fix up, you need to sell the 968 (i mean you dont like the color), buy a 951 and an audi wagon or a truck or something man. Its hard to focus your time attention and money on more than one car unless you have the funds, believe me i know this. Or you could take the money and i dont know, put it in the bank.

I could daily the 968, and put the new 951 in the garage as the car to tinker on, and really that isn't a bad option. I guess I need to see whats going if I pick up the new 951. I might be so distracted by the new car that I forget about the issues I have with the 968 (I tend to doubt that, but its a maybe).
Still selling her, seems the best choice. Honestly I'm stressing over this, just something i'm trying to figure out.

Ian, judging by our conversations, I would say sell the car, and walk away. I'm afraid even if you were to mod the 968 extensively, because the color just doesn't suit you, you would still be unsatisfied. Now, if repainting the 968 black or silver were part of the equation, then keeping the 968 for the engine swap might be a satisfying endeavour for you.

it's all about the money my friend. i say sell her and walk away. if you want to keep then it's going to eat away money from you constantly to keep you happy..i.e. engine swap, pain job, etc.

I'll echo everyone else.
Sell the 968 and get what you want. If you want to build your dream car, start with the right car. The 968 you have is a nice car to build on but if you don't like the color why put money into it. You'll never be 100% happy with it, sell it (probably at a loss), and start over again.

Pete you are very right, after my Auto-X last weekend I was on Paragon's website sunday night looking over Koni Shocks and sway bars...... I would be throwing some dollars at it right away and I just can't be doing that......
Well the sale is getting closer and closer to reality.
My price was 10.5, but in reality I'll end up taking about 9.5 for the car (with new spark plug wires, i'm sure that will clinch the deal on the sale)....

I wish I could swing it. I'd love to take that car off your hands, Ian. I'm still paying off the work I did on the S2. I can't justify spending anything until that's paid off.
