I've got a stack of Excellences dating back to sometime in 1996. Anyone want them? I can't stand to throw them out. Same goes for Road & Track (back to 1993) and a bunch of Autoweek's (the past4-5 years). Free + shipping.

Joe do you have the one with the RUF 993 Turbo R? That's the only one missing from my collection. I have to have that one! BTW how much is shipping for allthose Excellences? I'm interested.

Apart from Excellence, Road and Track is my favorite car magazine. I am definitely interested in those. Actually, I am interested in the Excellence mags, as well, as I only started collecting those in 1999. Andy, however, beat me to it.

I need to gather up all my mags and weigh them. They are scattered all about at the moment. Once I have a weight, I can give you an estimate on shipping. Just keep bugging me about it every day until I get it done. I can say right now though, that between R&T and Excellence combined, it's somewhere in the 200 lb. range.

Joe,

I would be interested in some of those if you are willing to seperate them or all if you're not. Let me know.

I also have a stack of Excellence magazines, free to anyone who can pick them up in Austin, TX. Runs mostly continuous from 6/94 to 12/98. No, I won't ship them!

Excellence was not published in 1985. I was a charter subscriber and have kept all the issues. I'd have to check but it seems like they began in the late eighties or early nineties.

Hi,
I bought the entire set of 1985 Panorama issues off eBay. If you're patient they'll come up. Set a search and have eBay email you
I don't think I'm interested in selling my set, I bought them just for the November '85 issue, my car is in it. There's not much 944 content in the articles, but the ads are interesting.
March '85 covers the 944 turbo.
April has a tech tip.
May has an article about a guy driving his 944 from Washington State to Alaska.
October has an interesting 944 article, although some of the guy's accessory suggestions are strange.
November is my choice for the best 944 issue. My car is in it, the 944 that won the 1985 IMSA Firehawk championship. There's also a good writeup of Freddie Baker's 944 turbo at the Mid Ohio 24 hour race.
December is the 30th Anniversary issue. Lots of older articles, and an article on the 944 turbo engine.

What you might also want to look for is a compilation of all the 944 Panorama tech articles, The series is called "Up-fixin der Porsche"
You could also post your request on the 911 board. You might get more responses.
