Suspension SQUEEEEK when car dips while braking?
I'm bringing the car in for the brake job--I figure what the hell. Have someone who knows what he's doing do the job. Fine.
I am also getting an annoying squeek/creek when I brake and the front end dips. Got worse after all the rain I've been driving in. Coming from the front suspension, somewhere.
What needs to be lubed under there, so I can make sure the mechanic doesn't give me a "I didn't hear anything" or "sounds normal to me" when I bring it in?

Depending on the exact nature of the squeak/creak noise, loose front wheel bearings are a possibility. Pretty easy fix, if that is the case: just tighten them up!

No, the "creaking" wheel bearings in my experience were the front ones, and those can be tightend up with a 6mm allen key by removing the front wheels and dust cap.
Likewise, you shouldn't have any rear swaybar bushing issues; most likely the fronts are getting worn although my heavier S2 cab with 143K miles has the originals and no issues.
What about the bushings at the top of the strut tower? Did you replace those when you had the front shocks done?
