You know what, i think it would be awesome to add even the stock 944 wheels for people that want to see a car with different stock ones.

Anyways, awesome idea, and awesome page!!!!

This car doesn't have RUF-wheels.. I believe that it's Fondmetal.

Ian, thanks for the info, I updated the captions.

theedge, I grabbed lots of photos from that thread...
Best Looking Wheels

Zman, thanks for the words of wisdom. I'm only looking at 16s in the near future. I'd use the better hardware if I went to 17s.

Pete, your pic is up as an example of Cup wheels.

BB, your pic was already up there! Look under "Split 5 Spokes"

BTW, I am by no means an expert on this topic, learned most of the lingo in the last few days. Its entirely probable that 50% of the pictures I posted are of aftermarket knockoffs or not even the same wheels at all. If you see an error, just post it here or email me and I'll try to fix it.

And I still don't have any pics of the new 996 turbo twists on a 944 (maybe they're just to friggin expensive?). I think they'd look bad-ace.

More pics of the lightweights, sport classics, or 16 inch 993s are also welcome, post them here.

Enjoy.

Whoops!

Sorry, I didn't actually click on the link, so...

Anywho, if you want more angles or something, let me know. I'll admit it, I'm an attentionwhore when it comes to that car!

Excellent work, DanG! I'll be on the lookout for some good examples in the future so as to help you build your site. Thanks for sharing!

SamGrant,

So those 996 Turbo wheels fit the early offset? '86 turbo and the early N/A cars have the same offset correct? HMMMMM........

DanG, I have a bunch of pics of 944/951's with various wheels on my computer at home. If you want I can email or pm them to you. I think I have a wheel fetish.

Once again, great idea!

Dan,
I have a bunch of pics of the following on my car. Neither that common among 944's. Let me know if you want other pics or larger versions of these

17" Fikse FM-10's (all polished)
17" BBS Mg racewheels (gold centers)

The Sport Classic wheel that you have pictured is the one piece 17". It also comes in a 3 pc. 18". Nickhance has the 18's on his white 951.
