I'll try to tape it-
Does anyone have a DVD burner AND a TV video card on a PC??
BTW- It will be re-aired at 1PM Eastern on Saturday On Speed.

Both DVD burning and Hosting would require some sort of a VideoIN or a TV Tuner card in order to capture raw video inside a PC.
Oh, and permission from the source to do such a thing. (Copywright infringement is nothing to mess with)
UNLESS you have a standalone DVD player/burner in your entertainment system and cable...
YMMV.

OK who can burn dvd? Dvds are pretty cheap.AND would be willing to copy and mail it to thier rennlist friends!Charge for shipping and dvd cost, that should avoid any copy right infringment issues.

here's a list:
1. vcr
2. vhs tape containing stuff to be copied
3. DV bridge (converts analog video and audio out from vcr into digital video and audio)
4. computer with firewire input (also known as IEEE1394, ilink, etc.) and dvd burner
5. software for recording and editing footage from VHS (on macs you can use iMovie and iDVD)
I used this set up to make my own star wars dvds, and to get stuff off of my tivo without deleting it.
So, in my case, I've got a powerbook (which has a dvd-r drive in it, and has firewire inputs) and a Dazzle DV bridge (more info here ). you plug the audio and video outs from the vcr into the input of the dv bridge. then you connect the firewire cable from the bridge to the computer. Since i'm on a mac, I then use iMovie to capture the footage from the vcr. you can also use iMovie to edit out comercials, add titles, etc. then, iMovie sends the footage to iDVD, which burns a DVD that can be played in regular dvd players.
if you've already got the computer, it's a very cheap thing to do. the dazzle dv bridge only costs about $125 or so. If you're on a pc you'd need to buy the video editing and dvd burning software, too, i guess. my PC's are for game-playing only, so i'm not an expert on video editing software for that platform at all.
