I swear by PB Blaster as a bolt loosening spray. Soak it and let her sit. Doesn't hurt to try a little tightening before loosening too. FWIW.

"19MM socket on a 1/2" drive with a 16" breaker bar. "
"coud someone explain this breaker bar thing?"

Breaker bar is like a ratchet wrench without the ratcheting mechanism. Just a swiveling 1/2" drive stub. The long handle, 16-18" gets you get additional leverage. Then add 2-feet more with a pipe over the handle. Combined lenght of 3' will get you generate 200lb*ft easily.

Grow stronger. No seriously, slap a 2 foot pipe on the end of your rachet for extra leverage, works just as well as a $20 breaker bar.

I let them soak for about 3 hours (went out & had lunch), came back and cracked 'em right off with a 19mm box end. Pretty easy. This was about 2 hours ago

I too had problems getting the starter off. Tried lots of different approaches. The impact wrench and universal joint just rounded the hex head bolt. I ended up using a 19mm combo wrench on the hex head bolt, and smacking it with a 5 lb. hammer. The Allen head bolt had to be cutoff with a Dremel and a cutoff wheel. I used anti-seize on both new bolts when I put it back. Good luck. --Roy--
