Follow the wiring-harness. You'll find the elephant trunk rubber snout coming from the firewall. Follow to where it splits off to go to the injectors. Continue on the other branch and you'll see two big brown wires. Follow those wires to where they bolt onto the block & bellhousing underneath the heater valve.

Gee, you waited a whole 31 minutes before you wanted an answer.

If you start looking at the negative terminal of the battery, you will see that the cable goes right to the chassis, then it goes directly to the engine.

Sorry it took me so long to answer! :-)

I use 18" worth of 1/4" drive extensions. Then a socket with built-in universal wobble.

It's really easy to drop that nut. When you do, it goes smack into the bellhousing!

On my car, there is a 10mm bolt on the block and a 13mm nut on a stud in the bellhousing. IIRC.

The 10 mm bolt on the block is actually the ground for the DME wiring and the 13 mm nut is the ground to the battery.

It sure do.. Cover the bellhousing opening before you attempt removal, It's a PITA to get the bugger back out.
