I'll second the MDX vote...have had our 2001 since new and ZERO problems...it's got plenty of room for passengers and if you put down the back ( middle) seats it's like a cargo van. Also superb in the snow....!

And the 2004 has something like 30hp more than mine....and mine is plenty peppy!!

The name of the V6 is irrelevant. The V6 in the Tourareg, VW R32, Audi TT 3.2, and Porsche Cayenne V6 is a VW narrow angle V6 (which used to be called VR6). The V6 is the same magnificent VR6 engine that VW has produced for many years, but now has more displacement.

The Audi and Porsche versions have some tweaks, but there ARE VW VR6 engines.
