Isn't it so minute that no one will notice the door handles after all the trouble you have gone thru to install them.
Wouldn't it be easier to get a body shop to paint the stock door handles body colour?

Now the side mirrors I can understand. CAN WE SAY SEXY! :P

 

For me it's the smooth look of the 968 units - nothing else. Just like them better.

 

agree smooth look really updated the car expecially if you install the 968 mirrors along with the door handles.

 

Does anyone have a before/after handle installation?

 

It's nice to get the most obvious VW part off the car.

My 85.5 door handles with the little faux wood grain insert look like azz.

Nothing wrong with that little chrome insert if you have wheels to match...

 

Yeah, I agree (looking like azz looks not good, right?). Besides, the little wood grain inserts are plastic and really f**king cheap and crack really easily if you inadvertently poke your thumb into them

 

Too bad the stock VW units don't have the same internals.

Found out the hard way when I bought a VW unit for my old 924 thinking I was being thrifty.

They were a group of lovely ladies that I met a few months back at a casino in Santa Rosa/La Pampa Argentina while doing some bird hunting. They were appearing in a show that evening at the casino and had just pulled up as we were leaving the casino, they were kind enough to pose for some photos.

 

Damn...right place at the right time kinda thing... AND you left?!?!?!?! I would have forgotten where i was going!
