Hey...I know you from Pelican, no? I may still have the car in a few months for all I know. This month I've already paid insurance for the car for another 6 months, so I'm not in too much of a hurry to sell. Be sure to contact me when you are ready to buy. I drive up to Indy quite often because I have an uncle living there, and it would be no problem for me to show you the 944 when I'm in town.

Also...thanks for the compliments guys! If I'm able to sell it fast, I'll be able to look into a 968 that I have my eye on...if not, then no problem, I still enjoy driving my 944! ;-)

Hey, Nabeel, yeah thats me from Pelican. I think I talked to you a while ago about a 944 for sale around me that ran great but needed body work. To make a long story short, I loaned my Taurus to a family member and traded my 944 for my 325is to have a more reliable daily driver. My plan is to sell both cars and have one 944, preferably an 8valve with a metalic color, matched fuchs, lower mileage and a good interior. Your's seems to be just right. What part of Indy does your Uncle live in? Good luck in the mean time, it would be great to work something out. -Trevor

Uncle lives in the northern part of town, off Lafayette Street. Get in touch with me when you are ready to start car shopping. It would be great if I still had the car and we could work out a deal.

Well, well...2 months after I left the 944 fold, they pull me back in!!! Nabeel and I have reached an agreement and Saturday afternoon, the 944 will be on its way to its new home in Richmond, VA. I FINALLY will have a decent 944, one that is not only in near perfect shape but one that has an assload of history. My '83 was ok for a first 944, but this car...well, enough has been said about it...now it's mine!!! Mwuhahahaha!!!! It feels so damn good to be back!

Ha, I was wondering whether I should bump this post with a big SOLD! message. I guess Colin beat me to it! I'm very happy that the car is going to a fellow Rennlister. Hey Colin, you should try to attend next year's 944Fest. It may be the first time that the same car has been at the fest, but with different owners.

That's a thought...I just might...where will it be? BTW, your father was a great conversation. I told him I would call you and lo and behold, I was unable to!! No surprise...Anyway, I'll call you tommorow as I have figured out a meeting spot and it is not that far for either one of us. I'm just too excited...so excited , I might pee myself...ok, maybe not...j/k, I am..

No clue where it will be this year. Last year was fantastic, look for the video macfreak007 is putting together of this year's fest. I think he has it all done, but is working on some detail stuff. You might even see some glimpses of your future car in it. I can't wait until he releases it, sometime next week is what I think I read. Oh, and if you **** in my old car I am revoking our deal.

Congrats to both of you!
Shabba, you are getting a very good car. I would have bought it if I could have.

Nabeel, are you 968 shopping yet?
