Matt H, I'd love to not cut the factory wiring, but its already been done by the installer of the old Kenwood. I'm thinking that in the mid-80's it was a bit harder to find such aftermarket harnesses.


Yeah, I'm thinking about 944 fest. It just on a really bad day for me. My sisters B-day is the 3rd, and we usually make family rounds on the 4th, and I have a party to attend on the 5th.

I guess I was tired yesterday. I found the point that the "-" spearker cables are connected, and also the constant +12v. I also tapped the climate control light for the illumination lead. The HU is in and happy. Thanks everyone!

Someone beat me to it, but i was going to say look at the power wire coming from the ignition.
