Default fuel pressure tester?

I'm looking to test the fuel pressure on my '88 944 base. I've been having trouble starting the car if it stands for too long.
Looks like the fitting at the end of the fuel rail is a M11 X 1.5 male thread.
All fuel pressure tester kits I've seen don't have the M11 fitting.
What do folks recommend?
Thanks.

The thread on the cap nut (holding the ball bearing) is M12x1.75

OK, then this would be more available.
Clarks garage states 'Adapter for fuel pressure gauge to fuel rail (11 x 1.50 mm female threads)'. And I thought I read that elsewhere also.

Thanks.

M11 would be pretty rare (as in, possibly non-existent, at least from the sources that I typically use for sourcing metric hardware).

Anyway, that sounds like a mistake in Clark's, and I'd trust what @931guru told you.

It's not too hard to make your own, either, if you're so inclined. That's what I did, and I don't remember having to hunt down any kind of weirdly sized hardware.

Cheers

A low budget, low tech solution is to slip a piece of rubber fuel hose and clamp over the threaded nipple at the front of the rail.

While I don't have the thread size info handy, there are two different sizes, one for the N/A's, and a different one for the 3.0L engines (which I vaguely recall is larger).

Good catch... the M12x1.75 is for the 16 valve cars and the M12x1.5 is for the 8 valve cars. Dunno about the 944S, probably the 1.75 pitch.
