Default Help with my 944 quasi-wreck

Alright, first off, I'm new to this particular forum (heard it was a pretty active Porsche forum, so I figured I'd post my query here) so Hi everyone!

Ok, down to business, long story short, I hit a curb and it took out my driver side rim, rotor, spindle and A-arm. My shop says it'll be $2500 to fix, and frankly I can't justify spending that on a car I was planning to sell fairly soon anyway (and only get maybe $6000 for).

So my question is, do I try to sell it as is, and if so how much should I ask for it? Or do I try to part it out quickly (ie cheaply)?

I need the money in order to get some sort of transportation going - I'm thinking motorcycle...I've been planning to get one sometime within the next year or so, so now may be the time.

More info on the car - 1987 N/A, 83K miles, 5spd, great condition inside and out, red with tan interior, bought for $9K about a year and a half ago at 50K miles, and have about $5K in reciepts since then (every major 944 item replaced just about - clutch, steering rack, waterpump, timing belt, power steering pump, hoses, the list goes on) I also have pics of the car pre-quasi-wreck
if that helps.

Please help me figure out what to do with my car! Thanks alot!

BTW I keep saying "quasi-wreck" simply because there is no frame damage.

Yeah, I know I could replace all the stuff myself, but I still don't even have the money for the parts (17, no job and couldn't get to one now if I had to, going to college next year) so I'm kinda stuck with sellin it and buying a cheaper mode of transportation while I save up for another car.
