Default Saratoga metal frame sunroof seal?

Has anyone found a good replacement seal for the metal frame Saratoga's?

Got a used one for a couple hundred bucks, needs a seal...

Im guessing the original one doesn't fit in there,

has anyone ever found a solution?

Thanks !

I believe the metal frame ones take two VW seals if I remember correctly. I'll see if I can find the part number for you.

Part number is: 321 877 209A originally for a VW Jetta I believe. You need 2 though not one.

Is there a market for these? Or are they still unobtanium? I was here years ago when there was a group buy, but didn't pull the trigger as the manufacturer made them a glossy bronze tint instead of standard dark tint.

They made another run later that wasn't the bronze if I remember correctly but the newer ones 2014ish-2020 were running around $700. Old ones from the 80-90's are going for like 200-300 bucks but the seals are expensive. I had one from the first group buy with the bronze, I wasn't a fan of the color but really did like the top a lot. Def made it a death box with the large hatch glass combined, lol.

It would be simple to make a sunroof "panel" that works like the oem panel under the sunroof to block the sun out.
