There is one on ebay that the listing makes it look like the top is for sale but read the small print he says it is the seal that is for sale. He also mentions the top is for sale but outside of Ebay. I just bought a Saratoga but I think my seal is OK for now but I wonder how long before it is toast. I also heard there is a VW seal that works on the Saratoga but I can't verify that maybe someone else can.

the ONLY seal that works because it is the same as the original is #321 877 209A
VW seal for the jetta, etc. of that time period. you will need two since the VW's sunroof is smaller than the saratoga's. I have a saratoga and did my research last year. I bought two from ebay.co.uk for about $90. each. Now i see someone on the US ebay selling them for $89. each, do a search using that number on google or do a seach using keywords like jetta, golf sunroof seal on ebay.

Can you post a close up picture, please?
Are we talking about the seal on the bottom of the glass or the seal around the circumference?

the seal of my saratoga is around the rim. it is made for VW cars and it is the same seal used in making the saratogas. i will post picture later.

Does yours have the metal frame or is it frameless? I imagine the seals might be different but maybe no. I have a manual glass type with frame; it hasn't leaked yet but it's just a matter of time.

i called the frame a rim. yes, i have the frame and it should be the same vw part for all of the framed saratogas. i goodled the info and checked on rennlist and pelicanparts forum. i ordered the part, sight unseen, and voila, ....IT'S THE SEAL!!!!
you don't need pictures, it's a VW seal and its the same thing as what Mr. Saratoga put on his. He must have bought it in bulk because the saratoga needs one full seal and about a third of the second seal. i once placed the remainder of my seal on sale on rennlist (no buyers) and now i won't part with it in case i need it for a possible future replacement.
Try it....you'll like it!!!
