Default Need ride to 944fest

Ok I got my car started and it does run but It dosen't sound or run right. I really want to go to 944fest but I don't think my car will make it. If anyone in the Akron/Canton area are going could I catch a ride. I'll help w/gas and anything else. If anyone could help I would be forever grateful. Thanks!

Shoot Dan P. an email about your situation. He has the master list of who's coming. Maybe he can get you hooked up with someone.
Hopefully you'll get the car straightened out before then.
When I have a big problem with mine I'll just walk away from it and get a good nights sleep. The answer will usually hit me the next morning.

MyBaby.. there is a caravan leaving Cleveland Sat AM, 8ish or 9ish. If you can get yourself up here, or any point along 71S to meet us, I'll pick you up and drop you off Sunday eve on the way home. Let me know. E-mail me for a cell phone # to hook up.

Of course they do.. it is called a "Lifetime Member"

It is kind of funny..this old saying keeps running thru my head..

"A fool and his money are soon partied"

Two weeks after the 'Fest I turn the big 4-0. We're having another party at my home in Avon on the 17th. (Ya'll are welcome!) I'm going to be getting to know the girl at the Dortmunder keg store pretty well!!

It looks like I've got me a co-pilot. I'll put him to work at the 'Fest fetching Harry coolant and topping off the pitchers of Dort!!

Not that it is a problem or anything.. just a surprise!!
I did a little research, I saw your thread on getting the 924 running. Very impressive for someone at your stage in life! I hope my daughter is as knowlegeable and adventuresome with cars in 12 years!

i would offer a ride if you can get to columbus, but i can only make it saturday and have to get back home saturday night. glad to see youre getting a ride though!

Dan, you guys can fetch all the coolant you want for me, but i wouldnt know what to do with it well.. unless youre talkin about a case of castrol 20w 40

ps.. i got my talbot mirrors today, just in time for the fest.
