My sunroof works. It opens and closes on demand. However, how much it opens is inconsistent. Sometimes a little, sometimes a bunch. More often than not it "stops short" and only opens enough to fit my finger though.

Thoughts?

The things that stop it going up are the switch in the roof, and switch 3 on the motor. If either of these opens up (or the wiring in between) the roof stops going up. Clarks has info on adjusting these things.

It's also possible that the gears that drive the lift could have some teeth broken off that may cause inconsistent opening.

Good point. He didn't mention one side being higher than the other though.

Yeah, everything works smoothly and evenly. Just stop prematurely from time to time but not all the time
