Got My Shift Boot!!!
Well, I got my shift boot today...got it on no problems...soon as I get a camera I will take a picture...but well...i broke my center cap...apparently someone tried to glue it in there...and two of the three pegs broke off...so I guess in a few months time I will try to get the stainless steel one that says turbo...THANKS RENNYBAY! THANKS TRAVIS! And thank you rennlist members...for without you, I would not have been voted the suckiest!

i can never get mine to be so clean around the cap. mine always has wrinkles and such around the cap.. howd you do it so clean? also, i don't know if it's just rennbay's boot, but mine isn't quite as tight around the shifter. But i still think mine's very pretty. :P
also glad to see that i'm notn the only one that ends up with screws and other random things cluttered in my cubby hole.

it took some time. and some help. one person trying to hold it in place with a very small flat head. while i put the cap on. yeah i could swear to you that screws grew in my (ex)car. taking th interior apart several times does that though. i little box of screws in there are self tapping. which helped with the door.

A little spray adhesive works well if you spray the shifter **** before you put the bot over it. The boots are made to fit tight around the top **** then loosen up as they fit down towards the lower part of the shifter. Makes for a nice look and also for an easy installation.
