i just installed the Bursch Headers from tweeks.com and i had to remove the cat cuz the stock system is all one piece with the cat...that sounds just like my exhaust...im not sure i like it cuz i think mine is louder...it quite in the cabin but i think im annoyed by the cowlike rattle im hearing...btw the headrs i installed where painted black and after the install its moked like a *****!@#$% i wasnt aware this happened but i think it finally cleared up...im not sure if theres any performance gain or loss since it was raining all day so couldnt see what the diff is...ur exhaust sounds a lil better than mine....mine rattles a lot more

Yup, every bursch 944 exhaust will rattle....thats what happens when you use very thing steel!! Overall, i was very unhappy with the product and sold it for a $100 dollar loss a week later. One of the inlets was warped and leaked air, and the rattling was a little too much for my tastes (even though it was probably made worse due to misaligned balance shafts). And of course...the black paint burns off within the first 15 min...

It did sound good at high rpms, but there is absolutely no performance gain vs the test pipe i made myself and stock exhaust manifold. The second problem is that its not so easy to just bolt the cat on when you need to smog the car.

yup that is mine alright...

guys i'm sorry about the poor quality sound.. That came from a 4.0 megapixel Kodak digital camera. I need to borrow my cousin's DivX and then I'll make a video of some drivebys and revs so u can hear it better.

I'm very satisfied with the sound and I don't think I'd ever change anything else on the exhaust system

For the record, my turbo sounds nothing like that with a stock muffler and bursch bypass. I guess the turbo and related parts are muffling my exhaust more. Mine does not rattle either. Yours is loud with the motor on, and sounds like a jet airplane when you turn the motor off. Odd.

it sounds like somehting is to close to a heat shield or something on your exhaust somewere. when you shut the car off there was a metal banging type sound kinda like on my truck. but the truck does it because one part of the exhaust is not welded to the back half. the pipe is just inserted into the other one which is slightly bigger.... hah
